It dawned on me this morning while having a conversation with my wife, we have been doing our radio show for almost fourteen years. Above is a photo of my sons Nick and Bo when we were doing it out of our old home in Dougherty, Oklahoma. At one time, with corporate sponsors, I was drawing in millions of listeners. Well, the sponsors got funny with my money. I shut the show down and let it sit there for almost a year. Then....Then? I decided to start it up again, using only Spreaker as a provider. Many of you do not know how this all got started to begin with. I originally began using six providers to broadcast. I paid their monthly fees and used three computers with split screens to broadcast and that induced and provided a fairly large audience. Well, not long after that, like within two years, we ended up with some sponsors who actually began to pay me.
Fast forward to now. I am using only Spreaker as the provider, they pay me sixty percent of the advertising revenue, but then something else happened. Several of my old on the air radio stations began to contact me and wanting me to use them to simulcast. It seems to be working well. More later mah taters......
